1. Where do you operate?
We will travel to you if you prefer or to a location you provide. Travel expenses will be added for any travel over 30 miles from Harrisburg, PA and you are welcome to contact us to discuss travel. Most of what we shoot is on location but we do shoot some things from our small studio space in our home. As a result we do not publish our physical address until a session is booked. 2. I can get photographs done by any photographer, why choose you?
Looking for a photographer can quickly feel like photographers are a dime a dozen but the ones who you want to hire specialize in a specific type of photography be it weddings, portraits, maternity/newborns, etc. We specialize in headshot photography and even though we are rounded in other styles as well, this is what we concentrate our energy on, so when you come to us for this type of work, you know you are coming to the right people for the right job. The guys at an all night diner can cook, but would you have them cater a wedding?
3. Is it expensive to have photos done through That Headshot Guy Photography?
This is a tough question. Photography, especially specialized photography is generally a little more costly than say going to get photos taken at Sears, so in that regard, yes. It also depends on what services you need. Is this a wedding, a senior portrait session, headshots? The type of session and your requirements have an overall effect on the final cost, but given the market, we are competitive and often willing to work with you to get you the right shots at the right price.
4. What is your basic rate?
This again is hard to determine, most portrait sessions have sitting fees that start between $125 and $175 whereas weddings start a little higher. The price is most often customized and tailored to your needs as our client. A print release is also added to all sessions, price varies by session type.
5. How far are you willing to travel?
We are often travelling between PA, MD, NY, NJ, and Washington DC. We can of course travel farther, and there are travel fees to account for, but that can be discussed when you contact us.
6. Do you provide wedding videography?
We do not at this time but we are always expanding our knowledge and working towards offering new services, please check back with us at a later date.
